Tret just released her 18th album, “Lavender Moonshine”, and will be performing songs from the new CD.  She continues to bring her beautiful music to us in all it’s creative complexity.  She just won the 2023 Phil Ochs Award in recognition of her music and activism for social and political justice.  Add that to a long list of awards and achievements more of which you can see at www.tretfure.com/biography.

Dave Fry, radio programmer at WDIY and former Artistic Director of Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem, PA has this to say about Tret’s new album:

“I have always been a fan of Tret’s live shows at Godfrey Daniels over many years, but, listening to her latest CD, Lavender Moonshine, I come away in awe of her prowess as a studio artist. Besides the broad themes of the songs themselves (addressing current social issues while serving up some lovely love songs), I was struck by how rich the production values are: creative, yet simple instrumentation, nice backing vocals and arrangements. Above it all stands Tret’s expressive and velvety vocals. Tret is a master at this and has put together an impressive collection of great songs with a sound that tickles my mind and ears.”

Don’t miss this fantastic live show,  her stories and songs are not to be missed.  For more information on Tret, go to www.tretfure.com . You can watch videos of Tret’s performances at https://www.youtube.com/tretfure.
