Sunday Advent 4 Service – 10 am

Our Sunday worship service for Dec. 24 will include a little bit of Advent and a little bit of Christmas. We will have the lighting of the Advent candle, a message about love (the fourth Sunday of Advent theme) and also some fabulous Christmas music lead by the award-winning musician Naomi Westwater.

Award-winning singer/song writer Naomi Westwater leads Christmas music during the 10 am service at the Waquoit Congregational Church on Sunday, Dec. 24. Pieces will include traditional carols and a contemporary Christmas songs.

          A native of Cape Cod, Ms. Westwater (they/she) is a multimedia artist whose work combines music, poetry, and spirituality.

          “We are delighted Naomi will be bringing music of hope and love at our Sunday morning service,” said The Rev. Nell Fields, minister of the Waquoit Church. “It’s a perfect way to end Advent and welcome the Christmas season.”

          Ms. Westwater holds a Master of Music in Contemporary Performance and Production from Berklee College of Music and she is a part of The Club Passim Folk Collective. She was nominated for a 2021 and 2022 Boston Music Award for best singer-songwriter, and has been featured in The Boston Globe, Under The Radar, WBUR, Vanyaland, WGBH, Allston Pudding, and The Bluegrass Situation.
